There was a report last year that 'blamed' fishermen (and anglers) for beach litter. I forget the figure given, but it was a very low percentage. According to this article, the general public contribute 42 percent, so where does the rest come from?

About a 100 people are expected to head for a three-mile stretch of the Norfolk coastline at the weekend to clean up chip forks, lobster potsand plastic bottles.
