Has anybody any idea where I can buy spares for BFR Fly reels. The centre gear came off while changing a spool and bounced straight into the lake!!! Any help would be most appreciated, cheers.

I think I'm right in saying Masterline are the U.K. distributors, or try Orvis as they own BFR.

Found ot today, Orvis own BFR and have a repair\spares dept. I will post the telephone number tomorrow, thanks for your interest.

sorry orvis doesent own bfr ,it was sold to a chinese company two christmasses ago ,orvis should hold stocks of spares though but the old intrepid factory was stripped bare by the new owners and the machinery (bfr made 40 different companies fly reels ) carted off to china or buy another on ebay they are pretty common .
bfr was the very last vestige of intrepid and i feel for the staff flung on the scrapheap in a employment scarce region ,one chap had been with them since 1956
