Does anyone have any advice on where it is possible to fish on the East and West Looe rivers next week - both tidal and non tidal stretches. Particularly interested in where I can fish without a local permit or, if I need one, whether there are opportunities for day tickets. I expect there are some bass in the river and also sea trout and maybe a salmon or two but any advice appreciated.

If there are any other small rovers, streams in the herodsfoot area that I could fish for small trout I also be interested in any info.

Cheers

It doesn't look like anyone's been on with the info, have you tried the local tackle shops?

Whilst down there I confirmed that much of the best fishing is on the tidal stretches and free.

Didn't end up fishing the river but whilst At Lerryn in the evening at high tide the water was boiling with fish surfacing. Maybe next time.

Had great fun saltwater fly fishing off some of the local rock marks and managed to get a small Bass.
