ANGLERS LIGHTEN UP WITH LUCIDO

Night fishing could take on a whole new light thanks to a great new range of torches from Lucido.

You'll soon be hooked on these revolutionary alternatives to conventional torches, which use highly efficient light emitting diodes (LEDs), rather than wasteful light bulbs.

Lucido Torches

One set of batteries used non-stop in a Lucido LED torch will last 15 times longer than a conventional torch - in fact, you'll probably be using the same set of batteries for an entire season.

What's more, the light from LEDs is quite unlike the fish-scaring bright yellow most anglers are used to. Its a really clear diffuse white light, which is great for close up work and gives exceptional peripheral views.

And Lucido torches are completely waterproof to one meter, as well as shockproof - you can throw them, drop them in the mud or even run over them in your car and they will still be working.

The Lucido range includes:

* The Lightwave 2000 (price £24.99): a hand-held torch with four LEDS, which comes in a shock, cold and waterproof ABS plastic case. Also available is an elasticised headband (price £4.99), so you can keep both hands free.

* The Pocket Bright (price £14.99): a mini torch with just one LED, which, is perfect for hanging around your neck whilst doing all those tricky little jobs which require just a small splash of light, such as baiting and tying hooks.

* The T4 (price £39.99): a head torch with four really bright LEDs - perfect when carrying all your equipment to your favourite spot.

* The T7 Vario (£59.99): the newest head torch model available soon from Lucido with seven powerful LEDS, which can be controlled down from seven to just one.

* The Palight (price £29.99): a multifunctional model with four operational modes medium brightness, high brightness, stroboscope or continuous light with reduced illumination.

Readers of Anglers' Net may order a Lucido Lightwave 2000 torch or the T4 head torch by calling 01457 854424, and will receive a 20% discount when quoting "Anglers' Net offer".
